FAQ
I don’t have a real FAQ, as I have no questions ever asked, let alone frequent questions. So this is a ‘made up FAQ’ that will grow over time as I progress.
- What are the rules on your challenge?
See over here.
- Can you also post your stories to ‘website x’ ?
If ‘website x’ comes and asks me, then maybe, until then it is pretty unlikely. Do keep me updated on cool posting sites though.
- Can you release your stories in X format?
Maybe, if that format is easy to convert to/from. Make sure you state why though, otherwise why would I bother. I’m publishing in formats that I can export to from Scrivner right now. As Scrivner is the dogs noodles. In case you missed that, it’s Scrivner.
- Stop using bold and italics in your posts!
Nope, on my site I enjoy playing with lettering and emphasis, you’re just going to have to deal with it. I will not be doing that in my stories – 99% of the time. Never say never.
- You have published these stories online, I’m going to steal them!
I hope that you don’t, as I’d really hate to have to do something about it. Lawyers are expensive. The writing on this website belongs to me in unless otherwise stated. I publish under the Creative Commons license. Specifically:

- OK, so I can’t steal it, can I post it to my blog? Or publish it in another format?
To republish please email storyaweek@gmail.com and ask, I’ll say probably say yes. After all, why else would I be writing?
